A look at the week ahead

It looks like today and the majority of Tuesday will stay dry. Chances of rain will increase late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening with chances of rain remaining with us the rest of the week. Our rain will be a result of moisture streaming out of the gulf up through Texas and will be coming into our area. There will be some slight vorticity over our area but we will be under the influence of the right rear exit region of a very strong jet. The rest of your Monday should remain pleasant with partly cloudy skies and temperatures climbing into the upper 60’s. Tuesday’s temperatures should also be in the upper 60’s with mostly cloudy skies. Toward the end of the week we can expect some cooler temperatures headed our way. Look for an update in a few days on rain chances the rest of the week and just how cold it is going to get toward the end of the week.
