Who should pursue the B.S. Geography degree - Meteorology track?
B.S. Geography - Meteorology Track: This is for people who want their primary job responsibility to be something other than meteorology, but who may need a meteorological background to do their job. This includes careers such as TV/Radio Broadcasting, state/federal government jobs such as the Environmental Protection Agency or FEMA, National/State Parks, aviation, etc. These students may also consider graduate school in Geography. The B.S. Geography - Meteorology track is ideal for those students who have a career interest in Meteorology but may lack the computational skills necessary to complete the advanced mathematics, physics, and computer science courses that are prerequisites for the B.S. Meteorology degree. This degree program requires one course in calculus and one course in general physics.
