For others it will be a Spring Break spent on the beaches of Bowling Green, KY.
Let’s look at spring break 2010 potential destinations
Florida- it’s a cold start once you arrive with freeze warnings on the night of the Mar 5th. However highs throughout most the week should be well into the 70’s with shower chances by the end of the week for Thursday and Friday.
The Beaches of Mexico- sunny and dry with highs around 80, great spring break weather!!
Hawaii- scattered showers, 70’s
Lower 48- no widespread weather impacts to travel expected at this time.
Now on to Bowling Green
A: High pressure will be in place over the region through Sunday leading to mostly sunny skies and highs in the 50’s Saturday and low 60’s Sunday.
B: I don’t think the early week low will make it here as it has limited moisture and runs into the high pressure which give us a great start to the break on Monday with just an increase in clouds.
C: However by Tuesday a very slow cut-off low moves into the region with periods of rain highs will fall on average from the 60’s maybe into the 40’s by late next week, rain chances from this may even last into Saturday with the potential for wet snow to mix in at night by Friday night depending on how much cold air is drawn in.
