Threat for Severe Weather Sets In

Good evening, everyone!

For Wednesday and Thursday, the Storm Prediction Center has our county under a marginal risk for severe weather. We are not expecting for the favorable conditions for isolated tornadoes to reach the south central region of the state, but we can’t rule the chance out. Our main concern will be with how far north the warm front extends to fuel instability in the atmosphere. Other threats include heavy rain (up to half an inch), gusty winds (up to 25 miles per hour), and hail.

We will have more details to come tomorrow. Make sure you stay weather aware for the time being!
