Friday Forecast 10/21

Good morning, folks, and happy Friday!

Today’s Forecast

For today, you can expect nice conditions as temperatures will be warmer than the previous few today. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s with abundant sunshine, and some elevated winds between 10-15 mph. For tonight, skies remain clear as lows dip down into the lower 50s. Elevated fire danger does remain in place with drought conditions and elevated winds.

What to Watch For

For the weekend, expected conditions will be similar to today’s forecast. Highs in the upper 70s, lows in the low 50s, with mostly clear to clear skies. There is a slight rain chance for your Tuesday night into Wednesday, but other than that the forecast remains very steady.

Weather Fact!

A few folks in the northern part of the state, around the Louisville area, saw their first snowflakes of the season this past week! While there were no flakes flying around here in Bowling Green, we have seen snow as early as October 18th, back in 1989 (NWS). Guess we will have to wait a little while longer for that!

Enjoy the nice weather, and have a great weekend everyone! 🙂
