The low temperature will dip to 55°F over Wednesday morning. No precipitation is expected. Surface winds will remain variable throughout the day while sustaining under 5 miles per hour.
A positively-tilted ridge with height rises extends from the Gulf into the Northeast United States, allowing for a warm, dry air mass to meander across the Mid-South. The dewpoint temperature is expected to remain below 50°F, with a relative humidity below 40%. The atmosphere will remain stable until an intense northern surface low begins to advect moisture back into the region.
