Happy October!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you enjoyed another lovely fall weekend. This weekend wasn’t the most exciting when it comes to weather, other than hurricane Ian, but the clear pattern will continue to hold. This week we can expect clear skies and highs in the upper 70s. No precipitation in the forecast throughout the whole week. Now let us talk about KenTenn 2022.

The 2022 KenTenn Weather Workshop will be held in Bowling Green at the WKU Ogden Hall Auditorium on Saturday, October 22 from 8 AM – 4:30 PM CDT. KenTenn is a free event for Kentucky and Tennessee residents to come listen to presentations about weather events that affected local communities. Some of these presentations include the historic December 10-11, 2021 tornado outbreak, the 2022 Eastern Kentucky Floods, the 2021 Waverly Tennessee Flooding, and a Keynote Presentation from the Mayfield, KY Mayor. KenTenn is hosted by Western Kentucky University, NWS Louisville, NWS Paducah, NWS Nashville, and NWS Jackson. Food and kid activities will be provided. The registration link is provided down below, I hope to see you there!
