Friday Forecast 11/18

Good morning, folks, and happy Friday!

Today’s Forecast

The dive into winter cold continues, and you are definitely going to need to bundle up when heading out today. High temperatures today will be in the upper 30s with a few peeks of sunshine. For tonight, the area experiences a real chill as temperatures drop into the upper teens with partly cloudy skies. Stay warm today!

What to Watch For

The weekend will remain cold as high temperatures Saturday will be in the low 40s, and even cooler Sunday with highs in the mid 30s. Both nights the area will experience lows in the upper teens as well. The good news, however, is that there will be sunny skies and calm conditions throughout your weekend. If you can brave the cold, go enjoy your weekend! We begin to warm things up next week with highs climbing back into the 50s.

Weather Fact!

If you think that it is starting to feel like winter around here, you should take a look at Buffalo, New York! The area is currently enduring a historic lake-effect snow event, threatening the area with potential for 2-4 FEET of snow. According to The Weather Channel, the greatest 1-day snowfall total in Buffalo is 33.9″, back on December 10th, 1995. Having a 1-day snowfall total above 20.5″ would place it in the top five. That is crazy amounts of snow to think about!

Have a great weekend everyone 🙂
