I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday so far, little bit colder this morning, but the heat will reach us eventually today. High pressure over the Northeast near New York brings Northwest wind flow to our area, explaining why this morning was so cold. Stable air in the area is causing little to no cloud cover, which will help increase the surface temperatures, getting us to a high of 74. However, due to no clouds in the sky, we will lose more heat at night as there will be no clouds to trap excess heat near the surface; thus, the low today will be 44 degrees. There is no chance for rain today as the atmosphere above is too stable and there are no lifting mechanisms.
Over the next couple of days, we will see that high pressure system slowly move towards us, meaning we will won’t have high chances of rain while that system is near. Saturday will have a high of 75 and a low of 44, and Sunday will have a high of 76 and a low of 45. I hope you like the weather were currently having because it will be here until something in the atmosphere can come along and change it; But hopefully you enjoy the taste of fall, this weathers great for weekend activities, football games, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes.
Have a great rest of your Friday and weekend.
