While stubborn overcast conditions remain over the area this afternoon and evening, the skies should clear out tonight for a generally nice Thursday afternoon ahead of more rain and thunderstorms tomorrow night. 

After a nice Monday that saw temperatures climb into the upper-60s, rain showers will enter the area on Tuesday evening.

It looks like today and the majority of Tuesday will stay dry. Chances of rain will increase late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening with chances of rain remaining with us the rest of the week.

Scattered showers will continue through this evening as a weakening low located to our south continues to push east.  Clouds will diminish as we enter the morning hours to start the week.

After a good soaking very early this morning, the skies have cleared out nicely over south central Kentucky. 

A line of thunderstorms currently (as of 11:45 cdt) passing through Hopkinsville is trying to develop into an organized squall line.
