Beautiful week ahead

Good morning! Bowling Green is currently 61 degrees and sunny. We expect to see temperatures reach 65 today. Broad high pressure is covering most of the U.S. today and will continue to provide sunshine and calm conditions for the next couple days. Current visible satellite shows scattered high clouds over Kentucky.

Our next chance for rain showers will occur overnight on Tuesday as a low pressure system passes to our south. Our rain chances are small, but it is possible that some areas could see some showers. The NWS Surface Analysis for Tuesday evening shows the areas that could be affected.

Temperatures will remain in the mid-60s this week with lows in the upper 40s. We have a chance for a warm-up this weekend as an upper-level ridge works its way into the area, promoting southerly flow at the surface. Check back later in the week for a weekend update.

Have a great Monday!
