Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Top of the evening to you! Who else is over this gloomy weather?

For the remainder of the day, chances of precipitation will remain widespread in our region of the state. As of now, the National Weather Service has our county under a Flash Flood Watch until the early morning hours of tomorrow, with additional accumulation of a quarter of an inch of rainfall is possible. Our main concern will be with flooding in vulnerable areas such as streams, creeks, and rivers, from excessive runoff. If you plan to be out and about at any point for the rest of the night, avoid roadways that are near low-lying areas. Plan ahead to give yourself some extra time for travel so you can stay alert and take it slow.

Have a wonderful weekend!
