Trend of Sunshine This Week

Good evening, everyone!

Tomorrow, our region will remain within an abundance of high pressure, therefore promoting the continuation of minimal cloud cover and pleasant temperatures. We will see a high in the lower 60’s and a low in the upper 30’s. If you can, find time to get outdoors! The good news is that if you can’t tomorrow, you have the rest of the week to, as this trend looks to stick around for the entirety of it.

A short break from the rain!

We catch a short break from the rain this Monday morning as the system of rain migrates eastward. Record breaking rainfall amounts due to flash flooding made yesterday the wettest day in February for Bowling Green! Several road closures remain due to this, so if you are out and about remember to turn around don’t drown. Today’s high is 51F and the low is 30F. The day looks cloudy but dry overall due to a high pressure system that has rolled in. Enjoy this break, as we expect it to last until Tuesday night for the next round of showers!

Stay safe and have a great start to your week!

Last Sunny Day of the Week

Today, we will have a day filled with plentiful sunshine and calm winds thanks to the abundance of high pressure throughout our region of the country. Those spring-like temperatures will stick around, peaking in the mid-50’s and dropping down to the upper 30’s. Into the start of tomorrow, we may start to see showers enter the area, remaining scattered for the start and turning widespread into the evening. As for precipitation totals, we may see up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall. This wet, gloomy trend will continue throughout the entirety of the weekend.

Quiet Trend to Set In

Good morning to you! We hope that you are staying in and staying warm!

Today, we will remain under a winter storm warning until 6PM, as the last round of snow and sleet will be making its way out of our region around then. However, with that active pattern moving out, we will have a quiet trend in replacement of it. As we move into the weekend, cloud cover will lessen and temperatures will rise. Even though high temperatures will achieve above freezing status, wind chills will remain below freezing, so make sure you layer up enough to avoid frostbite.

Thank you for reading! We hope that you have a wonderful rest of the week!
