Forecast for Monday 10/19

Good morning everyone! After a chilly few nights, we are in store for a warm and dry week ahead of us. With a strong high pressure system locked into place, temperatures will be able to warm rather efficiently throughout the day with a high of around 72 degrees for today but overnight lows around 40 degrees. Winds will be out of the northeast at around 5-10 mph for today and over the course of the next few days.

By mid-week, more of the same can be expected with virtually no rain in sight, which unfortunately isn’t good news considering most of south-central Kentucky is designated as D1 Moderate Drought. So, drought conditions may worsen over the next week. Temperatures will be rather consistent with highs in the 70s.
